Hello! My name is Birgit and I am the creator of whimsical Hotcakes Ceramics. Mugs, plates, bowls and more! Gifts that I hope will inspire you and those you love.
While this online store is a new adventure, I have been creating ceramics since 1997. In 2011 my husband and I immigrated from the Netherlands to beautiful BC Canada, and here I opened my Hotcakes Ceramics studio. My way of working is very hands on and the dinnerware I create is bright, happy
and colorful.
I sell my work mainly through this website, from my studio in Mirror Lake (Kaslo) BC, through my online store on ETSY, and in stores. All my products are 100% food safe / non toxic and microwave and dishwasher safe. Packages are shipped promptly and wrapped with care.
